The Rolling Stones album Some Girls was released in 1978 and was both a critical and commercial success. The album marked a departure from the band’s previous work, incorporating elements of punk and disco into their signature blues-rock sound. But as guitar players, the main thing we remember this album for is the iconic riffs.

If you take a look at the track list from Some Girls, you’ll quickly notice why this album is so well known for its guitar work, and in this video, you’ll join Ayla as you take a closer look at three of the best guitar moments from the album. These riffs are from the songs “Miss You,” “Beast of Burden,” and “Shattered.”

So go dust off the old guitar and get ready because we’ll be breaking down each of these riffs and learning how to play them piece by piece. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced guitarist, there’s something here for everyone. Also, be sure to click the link and download the tabs below the video so you can follow along!
